I have a boost leak. Running no more than 5 psi, should be doing more than 8 psi.
I built a device to pump air into the turbo (starting at the accordian hose) to find the leak. And we found it... sorta. We can hear air comming out on the other side of the engine from the turbo. It seems to be somewhere inbetween the alternator and the oil cap. We removed the end of a pipe from the accordian hose that leads to the intake manifold and blew into it. This resulted in the same air leak next to the alternator and oil cap (after blowing in the other hoses no leaks were found). Where exactly is this leak?
