Just make sure to focus on the volumetric efficiency of the engine before you turn pressures up.
Intake, downpipe with elbow, high flow or no cat, 3" mandrel bent catback.
intercooler pipes, and intercooler.
monitoring devices, wb02, egt, boost
then you can turn up the boost ;)

1. forget the fcd! imho, fuel cut is there to save you a engine.
2. dont just start upping your boost levels unless you have the right devices and parts to monitor and make sure your not scatering your engine on the freeway.

you dont want to be out showing off to your friends and then have to walk home now do ya?

hks trini u need to check out my man VIC a.k.a. BOY he is located in BK. If u haven't heard of him already. Extremely knowledgeable of ALL SUPRAS. Plus he won't hit u in the head on price for work on your Supra. When I was in BK he looked out 4 a cat and did great work 4 me. He is probably responsible for over half of the 1JZ conversions in BK.His shop is on St.Johns Plc. I believe in BK. Please believe there is no other person u want to trust your MKlll to and no I don't get any money from this cat, I just know how it is in N.Y.C. when it comes to mechanics. Good ones r hard 2 find. That's why I'm putting u on. If U need his exact address and business # hit me up and I'll get it 4 u. By the way he has a MKlll with a 2JZ conversion pushing over 500 horse that he did himself of course, that's whuts up!

Yes. FCO is your friend.
With a basically stock motor, you need FCO.
Getting a FCD is not a very smart thing to do with your stock fuel system.
And while on topic, With my car on stock fuel system, I'm hitting FCO at 17psi. Strange? Very. But I just run it on 14-15psi daily. Like MDC said, it's usually around 13.5psi or so, but some people experience it at 12psi, and some (like me), at 17psi. Either way, FCO, although a PITA, is great to have.
It's screaming at you because it just can't handle that kind of boost pressure on poor 440's and stock AFM. :D
