boost gauge location

i was just wondering if there is a certian spot where im supposed to tap into to run the hose for my boost gauge. i just bought one and im not sure were im supposed to connect the hose.

I tapped mine into the vaccum line where the factory boost gauge sensor is located. It's ont he drivers side fender and says "boost pressure sensor" or something like that on it. I pulled the hose off that, and used that for my gauge. That was for a mechanical gauge though. It works, dunno if it's the 'best way' though.

I T'd into the vac line near the brake booster hose, just because it's "there"... As long as you hit a vac line after the throttle body, you're good. Oh, and if you decide to go by the little heater switch thing near where the harness goes through the firewall, make sure you splice in BEFORE that little check valve or whatever it is, otherwise you wont read anything correctly.

Cliffs- Just put it anywhere in a vac line that is located behind the throttle body
