i'm running the SP61GT turbo and last night at the drag races i was having boost creep problems. i was running OPEN DOWN-PIPE. (BIC DDP) could running that setup caused my problem. the turbo would spool to 15psi then move to 21psi in the upper rpms. sound performance ports the hell out of the wastegate area so i really don't think the turbo is at fault. this is really messing me up cause i can't accuratly adjust my boost.

Shit man, I'm having a similar problem myself. I'm creeping to 5-10 PSI+ over my stock boost setting as I reach high RPM.

Are you running an aftermarket wastegate? I'm running my stock one still and I think that is the problem... maybe try boring it out some more and make sure it is opening/shutting properly.

this is the first time i've ever seen someone talk about boost creep on this forum i just see it on dsmtuners i know what your talking about. whats going on is your wastegate cant divert that exhaust fast enough so its going into the impeller. you need an aftermarket wastegate if thats the answer your looking for. basicly easy answer but ya gotta work at it to actualy fix it.

i geuss most of us never realy had a problem with boost creep the only reason i know is cus i help my friend on his dsm allot and this was his issue just before he got crankwalk.
