that would work in theory, if you had the boost controller connected to atmosphere instead of the intake manifold.

How are you expecting it to bleed off pressure that way?

the better way to do it would be to hook it up as per Joe's turbo diagram.

Bad idea.

Good idea:
Run the two pressure lines from the turbos into the controller's input (using a tee to make the two lines into one). Then run the output line (using another tee to make one line two) to each wastegate.

Yeah, that's exactly what Joe's diagram was. That's exactly how I used to run my twin setup too.

Ok i hooked up the boost controller today and the car will spool up to 15psi really fast then will cut of violently and bog down the car...

What could be wrong???

It does the same thing at any setting of the boost controller....

Sorry I didn't get to reply sooner after my first post. You second drawing looks good. Your symptoms sound like fuel cut as fstlane said. It means you arn't opening the waste gate early enough for the ECU right now.

A couple possibilities:
Left a vaccum line off/hole in the system
Boost controller hooked up backwards
Boost controller set to high

PS. Im sure fuel cut scared the shit out of you, its not a huge problem to hit it. Its a safety net the ECU has in it so that it doesn't continue to boost in a malfunction setting and blow itself up. Fix your controller and you should be golden.

Could it be because the front turbo has shorter vacuum line to the boost controller than the rear turbine???

In other words; the boost controller is near the front turbo so has less line to pass through???

its cause your running too much boost buddy, fuel cuts 12-14psi
so in other words lower your boost

Or get bigger injectors, walbro 255, FCD(the MR2 as its tunable) and a tune.

If this is happening even when the controller is turned all the way down, check your tees and make sure the ID isn't too small. And make sure the routing is right.

Line length shouldn't cause your symptoms.

I would remove the controller and run it with something straight through. If it boosts to stock pressure fine, then the problem was with your controller, if the problem is still there, fix your routing.

Oh hey i just remembered my O2 sensor has gone to sh+t... Could that be my prob???

I am going to hook the boost controller back up to remove the controller and run it with something straight through.
