Hey everyone i have been having a problem with my 89 7mgte, currently running garrett TD06 20g internal wastegate, with 550cc injectors and lexus 1UZ AFM, with boost being controlled through a HKS EVC 4 boost controller withouth the monitor. The highest boost i am able to see is about 6-8 psi. The car runs the same with the controller turned off, so im looking for some troubleshooting ideas to find out if it is the controller or the stepper motor that is bad? previous to this it would build boost up to around 12psi but i was having a miss fire issue, i went through and replaced spark plugs and re wired the ignition coil. Car now seems to run better with no missfire but will not build boost. Any ideas or comments are greatly appreciated.
