What affect does boost have on the intake manifold gasket ( IMG here after )?
I found a hole in the IMG between 1&2. I took it back to the machinist who did the rebuild. Good machinist and had no problem replacing it under warranty. He asked me if I was running a lot of boost. I try to keep it at 11psi and under since it hits fuel cut at ~12 or above depending conditions. He said that the IMG was "accordioned" out.?. He said that he could see the impression where it had been seated. I haven't seen the gasket, and probably won't get to, so I don't know exactly what he was talking about.
