If you get that for an auto NA, count your blessings. That would be a great settlement

I wouldn't say anything about the engine you have. They will be pissed if you have a turbo engine and they have only been charging you rates for an NA. If they total it, buy it back, pull your hardware out and find another shell.

:werd: If they figure out that you swapped motor, you won't get a dime. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if your insurance hits you with a lawsuit for defrauding them. Play your card wisely when dealing with them.

Agreed, it's all played by the VIN #. If you want an accurate value on your car don't go by the book. Have someone from Toyota appraise it for resale pricing. Book values don't mean shit for our cars (way underpriced for the actual true market value and demand), especially if it is in good shape.

You want to know something really funny? This last summer I was heading over to my friends house to hang out and I noticed someone was following me, When I park the guy gets out of his car and comments on the supra. I told him thanks for the comment, and then he says would you be willing to sell it for around 12,000? I started laughing and he kept a serious face, I said "Oh your serious??" and then said its not for sale. I don't know if its because supras are extremely rare around here or what but that really amazed me.
