does anyone know the normal book value for an 87 supra na auto thats what mine originally was cuz the estimate the ins co gave me was at 2981.00 but they arent sure if its totaled yet just curious

I wouldn't say anything about the engine you have. They will be pissed if you have a turbo engine and they have only been charging you rates for an NA. If they total it, buy it back, pull your hardware out and find another shell.

they already know its been swapped but they said its whatever the vin brings up they said for me to show reciepts fro the motor and ne thing to bring up the value.
Agreed, it's all played by the VIN #. If you want an accurate value on your car don't go by the book. Have someone from Toyota appraise it for resale pricing. Book values don't mean shit for our cars (way underpriced for the actual true market value and demand), especially if it is in good shape.
You want to know something really funny? This last summer I was heading over to my friends house to hang out and I noticed someone was following me, When I park the guy gets out of his car and comments on the supra. I told him thanks for the comment, and then he says would you be willing to sell it for around 12,000? I started laughing and he kept a serious face, I said "Oh your serious??" and then said its not for sale.
