Well, my cousin and i are going to be switching front ends, i love the pre89 front end, and she loves the 89+ haha so we are just going to do a trade.

Now i found out that i will have to use the PRE89 Nose, which has the ugly Headlight Nozzle Sprayers and the Toyota Supra Emblem.

How would you go about covering up the holes? i don't know much about body work, that is why i am asking, also i'm going to be taking off the emblem as well, should i just used bondo to fill in that gap to make it smooth?

also i am going to be removing the Rear wing, wiper, and power antenna. =P so also i am wondering what should i use to close up those holes in the rear hatch, someone said to weld metal pieces in but that seems expensive since i can't do that myself =P

Fiberglass won't work (for long) since it's rigid and the Supra panel is made of flexible plastic. You have to use a special plastic filler, made just for this purpose. Visit your local body shop supply store (look in the yellow pages).

But it's way too much hassle just to get rid of the washer nipples. I actually like them, they're perky. :icon_razz

You can use regular bondo or fiberglass bondo for any sheetmetal parts, since the metal is more rigid than the bondo so it will work.

Shawndude is correct. Do not use glass or bondo! Do some reading and you'll find the right product.

I got stuff off www.UrethaneSupply (FiberFlex and FlexFiller) to fill in the license plate dimple and the Vs left by cutting out the grille. No problems in four years.

Although you may want to look into just getting a new header panel. The front and rear bumper skins are not that expensive. You might be surprised at the cost.

lol keith swears by that stuff

But it makes sense, using the right product for the right material. The way i see it is you might as well do it with the good stuff now instead of using something else then having it crack yur new paint job a year or 2 down the road
