bomex front bumper

I know this has prob. been discussed before but I just cant find a straight answer. Plus it doesnt help that i have never actually seen the bomex instaltions intructions. But do people remove the front bumper support for it or not. I was able to fit the bumper with the support but it blocks the vent. Has anybody cut their support or removed it. Or does everyone leave it. I cant find any pictures of other bomex front end bumpers from the front view.

Heres a picture to show it a little better

The bumper support is actually blocking part of the intercooler that Im intalling. But I dont realy want to drive with no support at all, Is it still pretty safe to trim some of the support?

thanks for that picure Loki... since i just got it painted I think I would rather cut it. The fog lights on that car gives me ideas too

i have binned both the front and rear supports and made new brackets but originaly just cut the centre out of front one so it was like little corner sections

Nice. I like the fact that the neither the structural integrity or the airflow is compromised.
