What is the best bolt-on upgrade for someone that wants no more then 400hp? I just want a cheap solution now because I suspect my turbo is acting up and I dont want to get another CT26. If it can push out 350-400hp reliably and consistantly Ill be happy. I dont want to go crazy just yet because I dont like too much drama with my car and things blowing up unexpectedly :)

Upgrades currently include full 2.5" hardpipes and 12x24x4" IC.

Thanks

Not much for cheap bolt-on solutions...pretty much just get another CT26. Other than that, you could get one of the BOSS turbos.

the SP is cheaper then the Boss... and turbo concepts sell them cheaper then both of those. just wondering if anyone makes an upgraded CT on the cheap or something along those lines, otherwise i may consider getting a turbo concepts 61 trim for 950ish$

You could get a ct rebuilt to a 60 trim probably for less than that amount of money.

don't get me wrong, i'm sure the boss is a very nice turbo.... but i don't feel like spending $1400-2000 right now on a turbo. i have other issues i need to take care of to get this car running reliably (car is puffing blue smoke at startup, auto trans is having electrical issues, etc). i just want to rule out the turbo and have a reliable car for now without spending too much.
