Ive been doing some searchin and have seen quite a few different TB. Is there a simple bolt on throttle body out there. Im trying to get rid of the coolant passages as Im not useing them anymore. The Q45 is a good choice but Im looking for a bit smaller as thats too big for the mani flange. Ive also seen many A/M but for the prices asked I could get RonR to make me one. Not really but maybe. Thanks, Happy holidays

If you want to get rid of the coolant passages, just cut them off and JB weld them shut. They don't actually go IN the TB, they just heat it near the throttle plate. Reroute the coolant hoses and you're golden.

Chances are, you're still on the stock manifold, which means you should retain the coolant hoses going to the ISC (Idle Speed Control).

Coolant flows from the nipple on the lower intake manifold, up through the ISC (Idle Speed Control), then over and through the TB, and back in through a small hard pipe connected to the large coolant hard pipes that wrap around the block.

What you need to do is remove the feed and return hoses from the TB, grab a length of hose from your local auto parts store, and go straight from the return side of the ISC to the small steel hardline, thus completely bypassing the TB.

Make sure you use new hose clamps if the old ones aren't in good shape. Use the following diagram for reference:

It is a stock manifold that has been changed over to a front face. I have removed the IAC valve as i dont need it. I have a stand alone that I can tune for idle. I have removed all of the coolant lines out side the block and rad. Has any body used a TB from Accufab? They make nice parts, except the chrome, not a fan.

In the pic the IAC is still there, its older.

I've got a 75mm Accufab TB on my car, using a Mustang TPS. You can find the wiring diagram in the Reference/Tech Tips section.
