Bogging and Stuttering, Check Engine Light but no code?

My starter went out so I changed it. I also checked the knock sensors while I was down there, cleaned my K&N filter, and checked the turbo fan. All was good or seemed good. I bolted everything back up and now it bogs and stutters. I got an engine check light but when I jump the terminals, it just stays solid.

I already went through the hoses. Am I missing something? What I did notice is i bit of smoke coming out of the egr when I try to rev the motor.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You didn't jump them correctly. It will blink if you did.

Terminals dirty was the reason for no codes when jumping. So now, in addition to the code 52 that I always had, I now have a 24 and a 31 (mass air sensor). This really sux ass. Not sure what happened but the resistance measurements are way out of spec. Anybody have a working unit?
