I use to. I use to go to a track in jaxsonville fl. It was a clay track. Nice little triplet in the middle of the track that no one had the balls to jump all three. Well i did, first attempt = MAJOR FAIL. Hospital for 3 days. But second try, i got it. =D lol
Now I just ride for fun.

lol, yea crashing is no fun, im working on the triple at our track but its got that concrete berm directly behind it so if I come up short, FAIL, if I overshoot, FAIL, and unfortunately i dont recover as quickly as I used to from injuries so I need to take it slow, last thing I need now is to get hurt badly and be out of work for 4-6 weeks

nice, I liked the specialized, I raced a TNT for a while then got a ONE and now im on a Supercross, oh man I cant remember my lowest plate number, that was some time ago, I think my cruiser was probably in the 20's to 30's mainly cuz in MD there wasn't many cruisers so I couldn't get lower than 150 or so at the time, on my 20 inch I was fortunate enough to win the ROC 2 years in a row as a 15 novice and 16 inter and the Gold Cup east once so I never really ran my district plate after I got those, but before that it was prob somewhere in the 0-100 range for my state

damn you did pretty good best i did at nationals was 4th 13 inter i could of got 1st i got unclipped in the rythrm cause i wanted to go step down to roller but almost crashed haha...it was in reno black jack nationals...i miss racing it was so fun and meet a lot of cool people and a lot cheaper than my new hobby (supra)...when i have a kid i defiently want to get him out there to try it...

yea i raced with a next for like 5 years (walamrt $60 bike) and beat every1 from fresno to stockton with that hemp of trash...it was funny cause every1 else had those expert bikes that weighed like 14 lbs and mine weighed like 30 lbs...

how the tracks out there in MA..? were you sponsered ever..?

Yea I wish my supra was as cheap as BMX but oh well, Supra is more fun, Ive found those light expert bikes to kind of suck, I would always ovalize the head tube cuz I wasnt the smoothest rider, plus the heavier ones seemed to jump better for me. The tracks in MD arent bad, they have a sweet layout and paved turns but they dont maintain them very well, there often rutted, covered with rocks and quite uneven. I had some small sponsors, I rode for Bike Doctor and Broadway Bikes at one point and even had a deal with Sun Ringle and One but never any factory deals, just really good discounts and an occasional free jersey. Did you ever get any sponsors and still go to the tracks out there at all ? I here Norcal has some really nice tracks and the competition out there is supposed to be top notch

yes we have nice tracks best track ive been to was livermoore (bay area) the 1 here local is pretty nice they had nationals this year here so i went to watch...

no i havnt been out to the track in a while like 4 years haha....i want to go out there once i start working again cause i need new rims chain and sproket also want some answer forks.....

i was sposnered by local bike shop and i was actually sposered by answer they gave me fat discount free pads and number plates...all i did was write them asking to be sponsored....they paid for my entrees in double pointers...the catch was i had to update them of each race and i was suppose 2 race at least twice a week...

the track in stocktons also so sick they have some good riders out there....

i also did track for highschool and i did 100m dash so i think that helped alot with being quicker on the bmx track...

not to talk down on your guys track but damn your jumps are small and they all have no lips wtf..? haha

damn you got the manualing down i was pretty good at that i loved the feeling when you go threw the rymthn section just smashing and maunaling it

lol, its so true, most of the tracks around here are like that except for First State BMX in Delaware, they have lips but there still pretty small so its kinda dumb cuz you got these steep 7-8 foot tall jumps that are like 10 ft long, but my local track is mostly small no lip jumps, if you wanna jump you gotta go fast and pretty much bunny hop off the lip (more like a small slope) lol, and hope you got enough speed to carry you to the other side, thats part of the reason I try to manual so much cuz its usually faster to manual or wheelie instead of jump, plus a ton more fun.

your local track looks pretty tight, I wish back in the day I could of made it out there, now im more focused on events like SILV and the Texas Supra Nationals but maybe one day ill start racing again, it was fun as sh!t and a whole lot cheaper

I use to race, Cape coral is my local track, I believe ive been to jacksonville during the 5 star races.

I think the best i got was 19th in the state, Went down hard on asphalt bank and got tangled in the bike real bad, Corner marshall tryed to pull the bike off of me and my leg was clipped in and bent.

Shortly said my knee has been fucked since. I had to stop riding to let it heal and after i got back on i couldnt balance at the gate and it all felt wrong, I never got it back so i stopped riding.

Yea i used nothing but clips for the last year i raced. I had a Clayborn, I cant remember the model but the frame was like 3lbs or some rediculous shit, Had answer pro CF forks (the fat tube ones before they got all skinny and sleek.) and sun rims, I wanna say they had magnesium hubs? Shamino brakes and crank and clips IIRC. Its been awhile now.

It was built for the next year 5 star races, Except i never made it to the next year.

Yea its pretty big, The 5 star races bring ALOT of people. Its 5 different races in 5 different citys around florida, Cape is one of the citys, kissimmee, daytona, miami, and i think jacksonville was one of them. Its really fun and pretty damn big. Those races use to be PACKED but i havnt been in a long time.

Our local track is completely different now than it was, They made it more.........soft if you will. Its alot shorter (use to be one of the longest tracks in florida with a ton of pedaling) and the jumps have been taken WAY down.

I picked up a frame about 3 years ago, an avent morpheus pro XXL, Carbonfiber and aluminum. Ive been trying to sell it for over 2 years now and i havnt had any takers so if any of you are interested ill get some pics of it and let it go for cheap. I hoped to start riding again but my knee is shot and it wont take that abuse.

Thats where I lived and went to race. Its nice when they had the track prepped and there werent holes in it. Now its been, about 4 yrs since ive been there. So I couldnt tell you what it looks like.

One stop for the 5 star races is in jacksonville. That place would get WAY to packed. Lol. I miss riding.

That sounds like a pretty sweet set-up, i used to run the same brakes and rims but I had Chris King hubs and profile cranks, I snapped the spindle on my redline cranks and when the spindle broke my nuts dropped right on the bar and prob killed a few of my grandchildren, lol, so ive been on profiles ever since, sorry to hear about the knee, them clip pedals can be dangerous, there def. faster but you lose the ability to bail most of the times when things start getting sketchy

I never got to make it to any florida nationals, I always wanted to go down there for the Gator Nationals but the farthest I made it was the ones in Tennessee, I think it was the Volunteers or something, the tracks down there looked wicked fast but they seemed narrow from the vids I have seen, could be wrong

I dont race anymore cuz my supra is stealing all my money plus I cant afford to get hurt and miss work despite how much fun it was, its just always got the possibility of getting seriously hurt, Ive had a few concussions and sprains, a chipped shoulder and cracked a bone in my wrist back in the day but thankfully nothing life altering

na that sounds pretty badass though, although with it being on a cliff I imagine its probably subject to pretty bad crosswinds which can make jumping quite hazardous, but regardless I would ride it if I had the chance

true but just manual everything its faster anyways...i really dont like jumping at the track idk why...im just use to KODS and not having to worry about a kid that crashed on the landing and landing on them....

talking on this bmx makes me want to go buy new rims and chain and sprocket which should be around $200 and get back on the track....im pretty sure my xxl will fit in the supra just need to take off the front tire...

its funny i remember the 1st time i went out on the track i was all tired after 2 laps and i couldnt balance on the gate.....
