I strongly believe i have a bhg since white smoke, bad idle, and hard start are all a factor. Anywho when i bought the car the fellow said he had installed a new metal head gasket along with new turbo (he lied on that one) and all other needed gaskets for head job. I think he installed gasket wrong what could he have missed and or messed up on? Or could i have a cracked turbo housing? (since i heard and seen coolant bubbling out where the oil dipstick bolts up to)

Get a block tester kit from autozone and know for sure!

If he lied about something as obvious as a "new" turbo, im betting he lied about the mhg. He could have neglected the prep work needed for it as well.

Assume that its a BHG. It always is... I bought mine and the guy told me it had a MHG, so when I got BHG symptoms I denied it and blamed other parts. I spent lots of cash trying to fix it and figure out what was wrong... then I found milkshake oil. Tore off the head and there was a stock HG there. I had to get the whole engine rebuilt (and ended up selling it) because I was too stupid to admit that I had a BHG, and that I could have been lied to.

Block tester before you do one thing. Don't even open your hood until you buy this item. This will let you continue your journey of the Toyota Supra and you'll be ahead of the game.

Don't let the car beat you up.
