ok, im thinking about getting a new bov cuz the one i have is kinda cheap. ive heard that a bypass/recerulating valve is better. i understand both sides to the arguement, but i wunder which one might actually be better for my turbo? i get the idea that the bypass valve is better for your turbo's life, but in the terms of making more power, which one seems better?

get an HKS SSQV, and recirculate it back into the intake. :) best of both worlds.

reasons why recirculation is better:

1) it doesnt bleed out metered air, causing stalling and running rich.
2) it helps to keep the turbo in spool while shifting

reasons why atmospherically venting is better:

1) it sounds cool, (if you're into that type of thing... i'm not)

not sure if you know but that is because you are burning unburnt gasses in the exhaust. Now imagine that same gas makes your car move.. what do you think it does to the TURBO ;)
