blown fuse

ok guys so im just trying to figure out what fuse works the light for the guages and such. i was instaling a new boost guage today and my freind let the 2 wires touch and now those light will not turn on. i found the fuse diagram, but which fuse is for that? i need help asap cause i cannot drive it at night like this. thanks.

if you have a tester, than just touch the end of the tester to the metal sides of the fuse and it will light up if its good and will not if its blown. or you could just pull out each fuse and see if its blown. but from the diagram you provided, it looks like #1 fuse is for gauges? gl

i figured it was the guages one too, so i tried another fuse in it and no go. and i pulled out every fuse and didnt see any blown. idk if sometimes you cant tell? i may have to buy one of those testers.

Ashamed to admit, but I did the exact same thing and spent a whole weekend trying to figure out what was wrong. One of my friends that hasn't touched a pair of pliers in his life suggested this. Iwill never make fun of him again :bowdown:

so it wasnt turned all the way down. and i checked all the fuses and they all checked out good. i think i either blew out every light(i hope not) or i messed up the rheostat thing, can i just wire around this? i tried to jump it but touched the wrong wires and blew a fuse im pretty sure. no tail/fogs/or dimming now. any ideas to try tomorow?

IDK! have you ever heard of the rheostat going out? my friend mikes doesnt have his hooked up at all, he just bought the car like that. and i HATE messing with electrical

but here is a quick question i couldnt find, is the fog lights run under the tail lights fuse?
