I've got a water pipe on the back passanger side of the block, that is capped off... I looked in the online TSRM, and it doesn't show where it goes, either! Any ideas?

Yellow is mostly correct. I've seen many cases of this plug becoming brittle over the years and failing, blowing all the coolant out onto the exhaust manifold, which creates a huge steam show, then the engine overheats and the head warps, causing a BHG in the process.
SO... considering that plug is about $7 from the dealer, I suggest people replace it every year. Or crimp that hardline and weld it shut.

While ND is technically correct in that this has been covered, and recently IIRC, anyone asking questions in this manner makes it so easy that I don't mind going over it again.

What Grim said. I machined a plug for mine but at minimum you should replace that thing with every coolant change. Just make it a part of that service and you'll never forget.

Only thing I'd change is to make the pic either a thumbnail or a bit smaller so people don't have to scroll to see it all! (800x600 is safe these days)
