Blinking O/D Light after Manual Swap

Transmission has been swapped from Auto to Manual and now the O/D light blinks constantly.

I tried searching but couldn't find anything specifically to fix my issue.

Is there an AT computer that needs to be removed?

I'm not getting a check engine light, only constant blinking OD light.

Is your ECU for manual or Auto? The ECU should say M/T on it? Not sure if that would be reason for blinking but the Prev owner did the swap on mine and I noticed he swapped the ECU. I ended up swapping my instrument cluster for a manual trans cluster as well.

If you swapped to a manual and didn't pull the ECT ECU it will freak out and throw codes. That's what the blinking O/D light is telling you.

The ECT ECU is up behind the glovebox.

Not exactly sure what the downline effects are from simply disconnecting the ECT ECU are though.

Need to un plug the ECT ECU in the lower kick panel. M/T or A/T Engine ECU is no different.
