Quick question I never blew a intercooler coupler and this week I was fooling around in the supra hit 11lbs of boost. And the car all if the sudden seemed like fuel cut but I knew it wasn't. It didn't want to run at all. Pulled over couldn't figure it out. Car was sputtering wouldn't go over 2k rpm. Pulled over again found the coupler right off the turbo blew off. Tried putting it on ad much as a could and drove it home it was running very ritch. Black smoke and all. Code 34 too.

I'm in the the process of fixing it right now is this what a blowin couple does? Or is it more then that

lol at this
it's not what just a blown coupler does either you don't have a bead or our tbolt clamp wasn't tight enough or both
this is what happens what there is and leak before the turbo becuase the metered air goes in but not all of it makes it becuase of the leak so it runs rich
code 34 Means turbo pressure isn't normal
fix your coupler
