Haha, thanks SS. My old car had the black sawblades, the new car has them painted gunmetal. Black sawblades on a red car would look good, I think.

The paint on them on my old car sucked, they were flat black. It would have looked so much better if they had been glossier. Oh well, I put them on my new car and then painted them gunmetal. Looks so much better now.

Here is a pic of Psifactor's car with black sawblades on it.

They looked alright, but when the car was all shiny and clean the wheels were just lacking a lil bit.

I'm not sure why they were flat black, the guy I bought the car from painted them so I don't know how they were painted.

CK, I'm over black wheels (except for one kind  ) it's all about gunmetal now for me.

i like how you did your saw blades, kept the lip silver. i wanted to do that but messed up when i was masking it off haha and then since i messed up on one, decided to just spray it all black haha. if anyone is insterested i have a set of non painted, stock grey, saw blades that are just sitting around, if anyone wants'em PM me an offer. Clean car though by the way. my car will be looking liek yours soon, well somewhat, i'm getting a pre89 front and might even get the wing as well on my 89 =P

I did my sawblades with Rustoleum Hammered Black and they look awesome. In a world where every econobox and exotic come with shiny silver wheels I feel mine stand out as does my car. One thing I learned when painting wheels, use a heat lamp and get them as hot as possible and the paint becomes almost as hard as powder coating after about two weeks. I will try and post a pic of my car with the new wheel paint job, and 86 firebird wing makeover soon.
