Well since I have some vacation time doing a few little things on engine bay.

Have another set of valve covers thinking black would look good. Let me know what you guys think.

I freshened up some other parts; radiator, and those radiator holders, tems covers. IC pipes are getting polished this week.

I had mine done in gloss black powder coat and they looked great against the coil pack cover ( painted silver.) Red should make it show real nice.I voted - go black.

Do them in Mirror Black and polish them!

Any pics of that?

Since you have 2 set of valve covers do one black and polish the other ones.:naughty:

:boink: Not sure what the correct name for the intake/butterfly thingy (throttle body I think) but it's painted black, but its a flat black which would need to match. Have a spare one also would you keep the contrast going?

Thanks K. If you see the valve covers closeup you'd know they need some tlc.

Plan is to do the AC completely ala Satan's thread and at that time switch over to hydrofan so I have a factory shroud and proper cooling for the AC. I have some US cams that have been waiting also.

The engine bay has a nice balance of black, red, and polished. Re-paint the valve covers red.

(Listen to the ladies! ;))
