ok heres my problem, i have an oil leak somwhere around the oil line to the turbo, the one on the bottom, i believe its the return line, anywho i already know that i have a decent crack in my exhaust housing ( looking for one if anyones got one cheap!!!!) but if that crack went all the way through to the center section of the turbo would it possibly be leaking oil from there? because the head gasket was replaced recently and this is how i know about the crack, the guy who did teh replacement is VERY VERY knowledgeable about MKIIIs so i know he did it rite, and i asked if any of the lines looked bad or anything of the sort and he said tehy all look great and also i cant see anything wrong either, but that seems to be wehre teh leak originates from, so throw me some ideas here ppl,

take it off and inspect it.. we cant tell you what your turbo is like... doesnt take long.

I myself can't see anything wrong either, but that seems to be where the leak originates from, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

FIXED THAT FOR YOU

Yes, I'm sure it is possible for a crack in the exhaust housing to leak oil if it was deep enough. The only way to know for sure is to pull the turbo.

well trust me its nearly 2mm wide, so boost creep is insane, and im talking to someone rite now about another exhaust housing, so yay go me, how hard is it exactly to change them out, the exhaust housings that is
