Just wondering what is the biggest bolt on T04 turbo I can use with my HKS longrunner manifold?

w/ a spacer you can easily run an S-cover.

if you got creative w/ an offset and spacer you might be able to run an H-cover.

if you are running FFI you will have more room to work with.

chris and i just finished up this one.

t'netics 60-1 (bascially TS04) w/ a 5/8" spacer. the comp cover is slightly smaller than a full S cover.

GT35R fits Ok on it. The turbo will hit the strut tower before the manifold. The oil drain is a PITA to install on that manifold as well. Your should run it to the oil pan vs the block drain fitting.

I like the PCV Catch Can placements on both those cars...

thanks! altho i didnt have anything to do w/ the yellow one (sean's). he was the guy that originally set it up that way and we adopted the idea. thats one of the cool things about having friends w/ supras. you share good ideas :)

silvermk2-
the oil drain isnt the easiest thing to get at period. but i didnt find it being any more difficult than any other manifold. i guess its just having the right set of wrenches and being stubborn.

The oil drain is a nighmare on mine. The -10 line off the block has to come out horizontal to miss the manifold. The GT35 drain can't point staightdown otherwise it hits the turbo flange. Mines about 45 deg off horizontal and I use about 6 pipe fitting to get from the turbo drain to around the manifold so I can have a straight line to the block. The -10 line can't make the near U bend without dipping down. If I eventually add a fitting on the pan I can use a 45 deg 10AN fitting and got straight down to the pan.

ok i see what you are saying. you cant clock the turbo around far enough w/o clearance issues.
on chris's w/ a spacer we were able to clock it around enough to make an easy loop, even w/ using straight fittings. i guess its more of a function of your whole setup, not just the manifold itself.
