Bigger downpipe?!

When installing a new downpipe can you still use the stock 02 sensor??

Cause i just picked up a 3" downpipe and the guy gave me a 02 sensor with it but the one i have on my car now looks like its in better condition.

Im almost 100% you can use the same O2 sensor.

ya, theres no reason why you wouldnt be able to use the same O2 sensor

unless the wires are too short and won't reach the new mounting spot, i don't see why you'd need to replace the o2 sensor just cause you're getting a new downpipe... is the o2 flange on the new DP in basically the stock location or is it farther down the exhaust stream?

As long as it has the stock style mounting flange for the O2 sensor than it is fine.

It might have a screw in flange in which case you will need a new sensor.
