Nice!! The supra needs some new shoes though. I must say though that is some fine looking grass you have there :biglaugh:

Mods...I've only had the Supra three months, so I haven't done too much. Its a N/A 5-speed. Have FIPK, 3" custom cat-back with Ractive muffler/tail.The paint is 3H1 color but with "prisma" mixed in. Here's a pic where you can see the prisma. The Celica: Injen short-ram w/ heat shield, painted engine covers, TRD Carbon Fibre head cover, TRD oil cap, Tokico blue shocks/struts/springs (1.25") drop, rims are 17" Motegi, tires are Fuzion 40's, TRD wing, Hood scoop is SPORT-M replica made by "tater" (he's pretty well known for his unique fiberglass work-he's from Louisianna--hopes he's ok), interior I got all the trim painted with some (small) accent neon. I have a Blitz front and Blitz sides that need painted and installed but when I got the Supra I put that project on hold (for now). I've done some other things to the Celica but I can't think of them right now. For the Supra I would like to do the 1jz conversion eventually, or build up the 7m, I dunno, but pretty sure bet that this winter the motor is coming out. Runs great at 154K, but using about a half quart of oil a month.

Nice Cars! Nice Paint!, Nice Grass! haha how do you maintain your grass? i have a timed sprinkler system but my grass is starting to turn brown in spots.... anyways! really nice cars. The Celica is one of the few FWD cars i like. only thing is that i always thought of that car as a girl hehe =P
No, the girl car is the limp-looking RSX! lol NEVER seen a guy driving one! Umm, grass....I only cut it once a week, other than that nothing, except I always park my cars on it! Its NW Pa. We only get 3 months of summer but everything is green for sure.

well I don't know really if any car is a "girls car" or a "guys" car. BUT>>When my POS 2001 Chevy 4x4 Silverado puked its tranny after never towing a thing or ever being off road at 62k, and the sh*tters at GM wouldn't cover it, I saw my celica sitting at a Toyota dealer..drove it, really liked it, and bought it. Now I was always the muscle car type of guy giving the young guys at work crap about their Jap scrap. I started working on the Celica and getting to know the imports, and I've learned a whole new world of fun. Still like the muscle cars, and the Celica is fun to drive even though it lacks grunt, and the Supra is a car I've wanted ever since I knew what one was. So long story sorry, but the Celica got me interested in imports in general, and maybe it is a "girls" car, but I know more guys that own them than girls, but it doesn't matter, its a good looking car and lotsa fun. Now the Supra I can turn into a real beast.....yipper. Oh, the Prisma was on it when I bought it. I saw a silver one once with the same treatment. It's only stands out when in the bright sun. The rims have it on them too...lol. Anyway, thanks for the comments, much appreciated, especially from people here who are much more knowledgeable than I!
i don't think the celica is a girl's car, but i think if it were to be either a boy or girl it would be a girl. get it? like 240sx's how they are irls cause they are named Silvia. Then the 300zx how they are Fairlady Z. hehe when i hear celica i think a girl =P i remember reading in a mag that toyota claims Supras are guys, and that the MR-S (MR2 Spyder) is the wife to MR2. just wanted to clarify what i meant, cause it seemed that you were a tad bit ticked about it being a girls or guys car. it's like how people think miatas are for girls but guys own pretty much all of them! haha =P

tC retarted cousin, now that is funny. As for Supra..I want to replace moldings 1st, then I have to replace the rotors. then I would like to upgrade the shocks and springs, new rims (17 or 18, not sure yet). Finally I want to build a 7m-GTE (mine is n/a) and drop it in. Mine runs great at 154k, only uses a little oil, but I'd love to put 500 hp in there, along with a locker rear end. I will end up re-painting it too. The paint on it is nice, but there are a lot of places where it's chipping, and the front bumper definately needs painted, may get a new front bumper, or lip. This is more money than I have right now, but I'm never parting with the Supra. Or the Celica. Next new car will be in 2007, leaning towards EVO or STi, but lots of time to see what other choices there will be.
no offense at all, but parking next that that kitted up Celica makes that mk3 look horrible. Two easy things to do: nicer wheels and matching trim. That maroonish-red color isnt helping either. Sorry for sounding like an ass but its little things like this that make people not attracted to the mk3
The Celica does not have a kit on it yet. I have one that I have to get fitted and painted, but what you see here is stock bumpers and sides. I plan on getting rims for it as soon as the cash is available, but as someone on this site recommended to me, I first am making sure that all the mechanical stuff is good. But I will get rims. Also, the trim is factory color Burgundy, matched the factory color paint, even tho re-sprayed by the previous owner. The color is code the original 3H1 with a prisma clearcoat overspray. I am working on replacing the trim though because of warpage. And no offense taken, but I have to say why should I care if people are attracted to mkIII or not. I'm not selling them nor am I selling mine, and it's not an "investment" it's a car that I enjoy and love to have. I can always park the Supra next to my wifes Hyundai. That should preserve the Supra's image lol!
