yeah so im stumped here. my compression numbers are way to high 160,180.180,160,160,160. shes not pouring smoke out of the exaust. shes driivng really strong, no power loss what-so-ever. no coolant/oil mix that i can see. i do have a air pocket in my cooling system i cant seem to get rid after putting a new radiator in. and my friend said my car smells "sweet" besides that shes running awesome.... i thought compression would be to high for this? or id have a power loss of some sort or SOME significant sign of it...

DO NOT FORGET TO MACHINE YOUR HEAD AND BLOCK!

at the minimum resurface the head! Use ARP studs and torque to 88-95 ftlbs. after 500 MILES RETORQUE/RECHECK!

Although not necessary but recommended use Copper Spray a gasket. and dont go cheap on the parts use good stuff :)

thanks for the tips. how do u have a block machined while its in the car? i wasnt really to worried about the block surfice since its iron, just the alumium head. i was going to go with a bead type hks instead of stoper because if said when i was reading better seating for warpage and good for high hp? and i was gonan use the copper spray. and... i think thats it, oh yah how much do gasket sets run i might as well change all the upper gaskets and a set of arp stud locks
