Iam in the middle of a rebuild and have no desire to put 18 yr old fitted hoses back on the engine. I have a hose tech silicon vacuum line kit but what about the fitted/molded hoses like around the throttle body etc.

You can replace some hoses by going to Napa type stores and purchasing generic hose and custom cut/fit it. But I think some hoses are so custom you may need to pay for the OEM replacements.

I did the bit where I picked up hoses that were *close* and could be cut to fit for many of them. Some you just have to bite the bullet and get them from Toyota - like the PCV to throttle body reducer, for instance. Or the accordian hose.

I'd say just take them all into your regular parts place, get ones you can there, then take the rest to Toyota and get those.
