I bought the Falken Azenis RT-615 (200 A A ZR) tires mounted on 17x9 Voxx Misano Rims, and OMG a freaking world of difference. These tires and my suspension set up now, konis and eibachs, I handle as good as my brothers 98 BMW m3. He even drove it and said so himself. What tires are you guys running? How are they treating you?

Indeed. I was planning to get some in the near future, but I heard a nasty rumor that they're being discontinued. Anyone have verification or can disprove?

i had toyo t1 proxes a long time ago, 245/45/16 on stock rims, man those tires kicked ass.... too bad they only lasted a little over a year (like 20-25,000miles)

but i'm probably going to get toyos again, i was super impressed.

I just tried finding the lowest tread rating that was still really good in the rain hense rt-615's 200 rating.
PLus they are cheap. I paid a little over 500 for all four.

Never buy Bridgestone Potenza RE092 tires! The previous owner put them on the Supra and my tC came from the factory with them, and the tires really suck. They provide very little feedback, are pretty harsh, and allow for very little confidence, particularly in wet weather.

I have had a good experience with Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires. I have had two sets of 225/45-17 on my Talon, and they have great handling characteristics. Add to that good wet weather performance and a pretty low price, and it was hard to beat when I was shopping for tires.

holy hell, and i thought i was the only one with some sumitomos. ive got the htr + on the back of the supra, some wynstar exocets on the front. i really need to get a matched set sometime soon, these are showing wear.

too bad the UTQG doesn't transfer from company to company. my g/fs MR2 is in right now getting some yokohama avs es100s. theyve got a treadwear rating of 180.

anyhoo, i think im going with the es100s too whenever i scrape up enough time and change to do something about it.

EXOCETS!?!?!??! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POS TIRES! KILL THEM WITH FIRE!!!!

But I've heard good things about Sumi's and have seen them on a few MKIII's

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sports up front and Kuhmo 712's on the back right now...the 712's just can't keep traction with my 4.30 diff lol.

I had them when I was NA and they still were horrible. Very hard compound, loud, screechy pieces of shite. When I went Turbo it was all over. One even grew some sort of bulge/tumor after sitting for a couple months. Never again.

I don't know how much weight it was, but i remember one having about 8 weights glued to the inside of the rim..

i'm running falken azenis rt-615's on my car on mkiv rims. i've got 275/40's in the back, and 255/40's in the front.

i'm pushing 289rwhp, 295ft lbs torque, and in first and second, i can break them loose when it gets colder out. on hot days, they grab and go. that's not what i bought them for though. (i'll be getting DR's for that)

i bought them for the twisties, where they hold like crazy. i can't wait to get rid of my eibach/koni combo and get some coilovers and sway bars!
