How about some suggestions for the better places to buy performance parts;
intercoolers & piping, turbos, fuel pumps/FRPs/management systems and the likes.

Thx

jscspeed.com is good, you can buy bolt on turbo kits (boss 550) using the stock manifold from suprasport.com, and ebay.com for those little things that are hard to find that need replacing on your car.

I consider Jeg's the 'wal-mart' of performance parts ... I always browse through there first - but they're not much for import specific stuff.

HorsePower Freaks has gotten over $6k from me in the last six months or so - I couldn't be happier with their service.

I dealt with MVP for a while, but their lack of service (dealt with a couple of real dumbasses over there) ... and the fact that they won't tell you ahead of time if a part has to be shipped over from JDMland ... led me to find HPF.

Someone change the title of this thread to "nutswinging thread" :D

As far as the "best" you need to be the judge of that.
Check out the vendor's section here, there's a bunch of good guys here that support the community. MDC, 935, BIC, Driftmotion, etc.. etc...

Summit is good for little things, they're cheap and they have a great assortment of things.

how long did shipping take from japan when you ordered from mvp? they just pulled that shit with me.. assuming when they told me my exhaust shipped direct from tanabe..

but i've had good luck with HPF 935 and BIC.

Yeah exactly - "shipping direct from HKS" ... silly me - I'm thinking HKS USA ... I mean they DO have facilities here in the states. 8-10 weeks later, when the part finally arrived, I figured it out.

First thing I do is try to secure a manufacturer name for what I want, then get a part number. Then I go to summitracing dot com and see if they sell that manufacturers brand, if they do that’s where I buy First. After that I try Jegs, then if ALL else fails I try a supra supplier. As time goes on Summit is Reppen more and more Tuner parts, So if you don’t see your brand there write to them and bitch cause they really do listen.
