Best method to level headlights!

So I replaced my headlights and I totally forgot to mark the stock lights and now the headlights are not leveled. Every time I try to mark the beam on the wall a few feet away from me, I can't get the correct leveling on the open road. What's your best method to level headlights? Thanks!

The plastic nipples on all headlights is for the headlight leveling tool. You will not find this on newer lights.

Newer cars have a built in level and you just turn the screw. I apologize for posting this guy. He has posted some BS in the past. This is the correct tool.
