I've searched for this information to death and can't seem to find the answer i'm looking for.

What is the best LSD setup to go with a 2jzgte swap? I'm not looking for a drag car, but more of a daily driver with a fair balance between low end and top end power.

I'm currently looking at some NA supras to purchase. Is it a HUGE hassle to replace the NA's diff with a turbo setup? Am i better off finding a turbo supra?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

N/A come with the option of LSD and all turbos have it.. the last two n/a's i had came with LSD. No difference between the two.

Apparently the stock rear end can hold 850rwhp and some redline to make it last.

it really depends on your set-up. stock turbo go with a lower ratio cause you'll have available low end. with a larger turbo, maybe you should consider a higher ratio to be able to reach upper revs easier. its nice to be able to boost in 4th rather than shifting to 3rd on the freeway.

Depends on if you want speed or acceleration. That's what it boils down to. Speed? 3.73's or something custom if you want even more available speed. IIRC the MKIV's final ratio is what? in the 3.50's?

Acceleration, 4.30's

Best of both worlds, 3.91's like me.

You can have six gears and not have as much top speed available as a five speed. IIRC isn't the gearing ratio on the MKIV's Getrag 1.00:1 in fifth gear? The MKIII turbo tranny is 1.00:1 in fourth, so what's the sixth gear ratio and fifth gear ratio of the two respectively?

Will you be running stock twins in TTC, stock twins in sequential or a single? What transmission will you be using? Power goals? 1/4 mile time goals? How fast are you trying to go (or have the balls to go)?

No. 1:1 for the V160 is 5th gear. It is not a double overdrive transmission.
