best exhaust

well, the time has come, both the local police and old people have become tired of my open 3" downpipe days, so i'm on the quest for the best sounding exhaust, i am stuck between the

or a custom bent exhaust setup, just make sure to include what make the muffler/resonator is

i cant really decide because these damn youtube videos confuse me(the same labeled exhaust sounds REALLY different video to video) so if any of you could post up what you know for sure is what, or better yet, videos of your own exhausts, that'd be great, thanks alot and give me your opinions

my favorite is the tanabe as of now, but tanabe has SO many different names for their vast line of exhausts(for example;super mega super duper ultra hyper racing street medallion exhaust)(lol) so i'm not for sure which one it is, or if it even is one

I have the SuperHyper Medallion and I'm very happy with it. I really like how quiet it is, and I think it sounds great when I get on it.

the reason for different videos sounding different is simply different motor setups, etc. i like my invidia exhaust although the only vid i have of it the car only runs for a second

I just got a ticket for modified exhaust so I'll be interested to see which is the quietest.

(Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone has any ideas on how to beat a Ca. vc 27150 violation I'd sure appreciate it.)

If you want the RS*R GTII you'd better decide quick cause their out of production. As far as I know 935 still has some but who knows for how long...

The first two are with the stock "holy" exhaust, third one no exhaust, fourth one RS*R GTII no silencer, fifth one RS*R GTII w/ silencer. This way you can kinda get a feel for what the RS*R sounds like 'cause you can compare it to the stocker...

Sell your car and walk??? Good luck Cali is damn strict now on everything when it comes to cars i had a custom exhaust made from a known shop and i still got a ticket for modified exhaust. simsle solution when you see a cop clutch in or neautral if your auto:thumbup:

If you know your car is under the 95dB limit, get proof and get the citation signed off.

HKS 3" Sport Turbo... Looks stock, very deep sound and not very loud, flows like a beast!

Did they really stop making the RSR GTII? That sucks if they did. I wanted to get one whenever I saved up enough money to go turbo.
