for the money..what is the best down pipe out there?? i want something that will mate to a 3" elbow with no mods....i dont care if it deletes the cat or not since i can always put a test pipe there...

so with those in mind...what is the best down pipe for the least amount of money?? something that will last and i will see decent gains out of obviously...

HKS is out of the question since it sits so low...and i would perfer to stay away from the flex pipe since it tapes in and will cut my flow some...what else is left??

I have a cooleze megamouth downpipe and so does my cousin, no complaints here as to the performance gains, drives like a completely different beast since this has been put on. Loud? Oh yeah, this is a loud downpipe, especially with a test pipe and no resonators. The only thing that may not be apealing (to some people) is that Greg Pickett does not make a divorced downpipe version. You can get this downpipe for 300.00 shipped or less depending on how good you know Greg (the guy that makes these downpipes) My cousin got his for 300, i got mine at discounted price because I also bought the test pipe and turbo inlet pipe.

Don't boost near cops and your car won't be any louder then a normal 3" DP. BIC DDP is only loud when the wastegate is open, i.e. under boost.

MDC has some flanges he'd probably sell... I didn't weld that piece, but it looked pretty damn Easy. It took about 2.5 hours of good work to make it. and you'd save ATLEAST $200 (if you can do it yourself)

The BIC DDP is quiet until you open the wastegate up (Hit boost). It is actaully suprisingly quiet if you dont open it up...

My cooleeze DP should be getting here anyday now. Got it for $255.

I'm still going to attempt to make my own DDP though. lol.

I have both cooleez and DDP,

i ran the cooleez and LOVED IT great buy i dont regret it,

i got curious so i got the DDP yes its good too, but loud, cant appreciate that high pitched scream from a turbo at full boost because everything shakes when the wastegate opens.

in a nutshell you want performance either one, if you dont mind the noise, get a ddp, only pluss side is the boost creep the design allows therefore slightly more power.
