I've heard of people having problems with the Tial when they run low boost. No experience with that particular BOV myself, I prefer the HKS SSQV.

There's no reason you should pick a different BOV based on motor, it should be based more on what boost you're running. Yes certain cars AFM's will not like a BOV and may stall excessively. But it's not hard to either plumb the BOV back into the intake tract or tap the gas quickly after you've blown off.

Dr. Jonez complains of surge at low boost. I think his spring is just too stiff. if he would change to a lighter spring he would be fine. I dont think that the lighter spring would cause the BOV to open under boost, but he claims it will..

I run the Tial. Stock 9 pound spring. opens even if i just free rev the engine. works GREAT never leaks and sounds GREAT I get complements ALL the time.

anyone have any experience with the Turbo xs RFL?
Ricers nut over the HKS SSqV and the RFL, because they are both loud. I believe RFL actually stands for "Really F***ing Loud".
I don't have experience with it - that's just the extent of my knowledge of it.

If you want something with good response, ease of installation, and a decent blow-off noise.. I would suggest the HKS SSqV with the PURPLE insert [lowers the frequency of the sound] or with the recirculation fitting.
