Get a 4 inch inlet/exhaust only if you are running a big turbo that requires it. otherwise it would be a waste of time and money (KISS theory). 4 inch exhausts are loud, and not very legal, then again neither would be having that big of a turbo on your car in the street in most cases.

HKS drager, Blitz Nur, or a custom made cat back like the 4 inch, but 3 inch with whatever choice of muffler ( i like the apexi N1) this will save you money and time.

no flowmaster... what's the deal with people wanting to put baffled mufflers on turbo cars?

only choose a flowmaster if you have an N/A.
and there are plenty of companies that make awesome mufflers that look nothing like the standard "fartcan" that is so popular. i had one of these said "fartcans" and i liked the way it sounded, disliked the look.

random tech
thermal r&d

both make excellent oval canister straight through mufflers.
also, you can hit up jegs or summit and see their selection of oval canister mufflers. just choose a straight through, perforated core type muffler.

Piping is all that really matters in terms of performance, sound has to do with adding resonators and getting a good muffler.
