I've used raybestos a long time ago.
They were semi-metalic. Like all of the semi-metalic pads, they don't stop when cold. When they're warm, they're OK.

Napa should have 3,4,5 or more pads for the rear. Why buy the chapest... I just buy all my real parts from napa and my air freshners, mud flaps, cleaning products from advanced or autozone. I buy Napa's ceramic pads and they work great.

please note that many non-toyota pads will squeak like crazy when used with our stock rotors. that's why i just shell out the cash for OEM pads. squeaky brakes make your car sound like a junker.

Guess I'll go OEM toyota. thanks guys. I just noticed that toyota has 2 different pads for the rear of our MK3's. you got the 86-90, and then 91-92. what's the difference between them? I thought they were all the same, guess not.

a little off topic, but ive got a set of EBC Greenstuff pads. They stop like mad and do well at 90MPH-0MPH stops, only thing is they do require a bit of heat up time before they work effectively AND they seem to be throwing alot of brake dust, they are also squealing a tad bit as well.

All in all they are pretty cool but not worth the $$ i spent..

I've been very happy with Akebono pads. Great grip, little to no dust, and quiet as can be.
interesting, how much did you pay for your fronts? These EBC's were recommended to me but im not quite sure im happy with them.

nothing wrong with bendix pads as i would recomend them over napa...
Bendix does mosty OEM pads for audi, v/w, and european cars.. those cars being even worse about cheap pads making noise, you would have no problem with bendix

Akebono is the OEM supplier for nissan, toyota, honda, acura and those type manufatures... Thier pads are mosty ceramic, they almost never make noise unless installed wrong, They last and they do dust very little... They may be a bit more expensive.

Niether of these would i consider a performance pad.. just a stock replacement, and for such great pads..

To step it up i would recomend porterfields though you'll pay alot more..
