Well, after getting my head back from the machine shop and a few hours' worth of work, it's beginning to look more like an engine instead of a chunk of metal in my engine bay. The valve covers are back on, as well as the exhaust manifold, the lower portion of the intake manifold, the majority of the wiring, the timing belt and cover, and the thermostat housing. Head's torqued to 75 ft/lbs. Going to retorque in ~500 miles. It's all looking good!

Is it running yet? It took me only about 10 hrs to get the engine cleared and head off, cleaned up, and everything back on trying to start. Also, I agree with Ij pics please :icon_bigg

I'll take some pics before I start working on it the next chance I get... way things are looking, that won't be until Tuesday. But I'll get them up. BTW- I saw a nice white NA earlier today in Prince George, VA... I'm wondering who it belongs to...

those pics were from before I started working on it this evening. After I took them, I got the intake manifold on, the distributor on, rewired my oil pressure wire and connector, and did some other assorted stuff. It's coming along!
