Were you guys aware that based on Brian Crower website, the 280 7M cams are now available for purchase? I searched and was suprised it was not mentioned. Just sharing:icon_bigg

Sure I mentioned it during the group buy that they had them on the way.:naughty:

they are not for anyone not running a standalone and having a lttle engine work.

I'd stick to shim-less buckets.

Damn, 280s would require a LOT of stall RPM.....
I have 264x272 cams in the car now, with a 3000 stall converter,
and my 60' times still suck........
But as soon as I get 4500 on the tack, it turns into a rocket.

Two things keeping me from getting a level-10 converter,
Price.........
and I still drive mine daily.
Some how I don't think a 4500-5000 converter
would work very well for every day driving.

Am I wrong, is anyone using one in that range on the street ?

yea man, that would suck to have 280 for an every day driver. have you looked at the stage 2 or 3, there both nice. i would leave those 280 for a track car. can you say high gas price?

do u have to fly-cut the pistons for those? assuming ur using stock-type 8.4:1 dishes
