Okay,so there is nothing in this thread about hookers. But can I safely charge my battery while it's still connected to to the car? It's a Optima red top.

I went for the Orbital Deep cycle(my car sits a lot) I was told(not sure about yours) but for my battery I need to charge it on trickle your not supposed to charge them at or above a 6amp charge only a 2amp.. That might only be for a deep cycle. I love mine, I accidently left my lights on for a week straight. Killed the battery so I took it back and they said it was 90% dead, they threw it on a charger for 6hrs and it was 100% back to life. Love it Later-T
I have tried to do it on a very dead battery before and the electrics were not happy at all. Headlights went berzerk and a bizarre noise from something near where the heater core would be.
So I just take it out each time, no big deal.
