Bad start up

hey, im having trouble start up my supra. i live in wisconsin and it is winter up here so i dont drive my supra and leave it in the garage and everything i go to start it up, i would try to start up for like 5 sec then it would start but struggle to stay alive and die like 3-5 sec later, and then when i try to start it up again, it would start up fine, ive been busy so i am only able to start it up around once a week but try to do it atleast 3 time a week, u guys kno what might be causing the problem thanks

As for the bad start up mines doin the same symptom. I'd start lookin at that 7th injector? Hasn't really bugged me I just hold the gas at like 1.5 rpm till warm up an drive off ..I'm sure il get tired of that in a couple days an start investigating lol.. subscribed to your thread.

It's the cold start injector. They don't do much work most of the year, and when they're needed, they are clogged up and full of gunk.

The cold start injector is most likely your problem. What you need to do is remove it and clean it out with carb cleaner. It's located on the underside of the intake plenum between the third and fourth runner.
