Bad jdm inporter in el monte ca

i bought a 1jz-gte soarer clip from a place called j and r http://www.jrautoparts.com/toyota_clip1.htm on 5/15/08. i have had nothing but problems with the entire clip. i payed 2600$ for a broken and worn r154, blown turbos, a 1jz-gte with crank walk, with bad alternator, ac pump, power steering, water pump you name it, it was bad...... my advise to anyone thinking about buying a clip, is stay clear of this place. he may talk like you will be happy with your clip in the beginning. but as soon as you come back with issues he will turn to a different person. Another bad thing about this shop, is the owner doesnt take pride in his work and doesn't conduct business any better then his sales man Vincent.

its not only the parts he sells but the way they conduct business. he's a lier and a cheat to the fullest extent. i am sure from his point of view he would hate to lose a returning paying customer. but to some one that Vincent doesnt see a future of making more money or losing money(because he sold that person junk), he will lie and cheat his way out of it. it is only a matter of time until it happens to all his loyal customers, from his OEM salvage company to his jdm import company. sad thing is that there is probably 100s of people that agree, that have not taken any action to make it right.

ya, i havent had any bad experiences with Aaron or DM, and havent heard of any bad experiences.

please provide proof before talking bad about one of our main vendors

i didnt say driftmotion. i said jr autoparts. when i spoke with Vincent(JR autoparts) yesterday he said "driftmotion would buy this clip from him" talking about the motor/trans i bought from him(JR). because Vincent at JR auto parts said he would take back the Clip that i am not happy with, and sell it again with no problem. According to Vincent at JR auto parts there is nothing wrong with my clip. but he has only heard it idle, so i have no idea how he come to that conclusion. in fact i have personal experience with driftmotion as well and they are great!

actually now that i thnk about it Driftmotion diagnosed my crank walk. i brought my car to driftmotion to make sure everything was normal, and he noticed my crank pulley was wobbling. and after further inspection found main bearing failure.

You should have bought it first at Driftmotion, He would have checked everything first..
