back pressure questions....

how much back pressure do i need to run on a 7mgte motor?? Could i run a
3" HKS downpipe that deletes the cat and then finish it off with a 3" exhaust and still be fine??? will that mess up my valvetrain??

yea, u could run a 4" exhaust on a stock turbo and it would just make more power, turbo cars dont need tuned exhaust systems like N/A cars do

Nope theres actually back pressure there. Its the resistance (pressure) between the manifold, cyl, and the actual turbine itself.

What will really blow your mind, is that there is almost as much exhaust pressure at the front of the turbine (thrust) as there is boost comming out of the compressor.
