thanks guys When i bought the RS-R system i fell in love with the sounds and the much needed turbo response. It was truly night and day difference.

i love how loud my turbo is in the beginning of the second run. Also the hks ssqbov replica sounds decent but i plan on switching to the bosch bypass valve for more performance and response.

What suspension is on that thing? It looked real soft? And clutch kick more, like all the time. Are you running a real diff or a stock one?

Here's a vid of me driving my brother's car. This was on TIP Coilovers and on a shimmed stock diff that was crappy. The car now has a welded diff and it's awesome for drifting.

the cars suspension and diff was stock there. I now run eibach koni combo. still have the stock diff. you mention shimmed diff???????? explain or show thread.
BTW very nice video, mine was really a first attempt made by a friend and not me.

Shimming the diff isn't really worth it. But I also used old clutch plates so I don't know how good it would've been with new clutch plates. I did measure all of the clutch plates and thrust washers to make sure they met TSRM spec. And then I measured the diff, looked at what size shim the TSRM said was needed and put in a lot more. The diff worked for a little, but it was still a stock diff. It lasted through one drift event, then a track day and then at the next drift event it decided it didn't want to work anymore. And there were no street miles between any of the events, so it didn't really have much use on it at all. Probably less that 100miles. So I ended up welding an open diff instead of messing with the stock LSD anymore. It just wasn't worth it and I would rather save the money and get an aftermarket diff at some point. I really want to get the ATS Carbon 1.5way LSD, so hopefully by next summer.
