autopower cage

Seriously just find a local cage builder and have him build one for the car. Have him make it go through the dash and mount as close to the firewall as possible. Bolt in cages aren't legal for most racing venues anyways. They are poor quality from what I've seen and a waste of money.

The only real problem with them is they don't fit quite as tight as a custom cage could fit, but they fit pretty damn good imo. The nice thing is if you ever trash your chassis you can take it out and reuse it
Who said they aren't legal for most times of racing? They are legal for almost every type of amateur racing...except drag racing due to the harness and main hoop cross bar. Which there is no way to make a cage that is legal for both racing and drag racing

Well, let me share what I found. Not exactly what I was looking for (mounted in a car), but here's an Autopower race roll bar

I ran an Autopower in my Rabbit for almost 5 years. It fit really well, and stiffened up the chassis a lot. build quality was good.
I got the cage from a buddy of mine you have it in his car when he wrecked, and it ABSOLUTELY saved his ass. I won't go into every detail but he was rearended hard and had the cage not braced the rear wheel well it would have gone into his back. The car was destroyed, and the Autopower barely should a scratch, let alone any bending or similar.
