Does anyone know why these Autolite 3923s are different? I bought 4 of these at 1 place and 2 at another place. I was going to install them today and realized they are not the same. One is slightly longer than the other, the metal is different and the end where the spark plug wire connects is different. Does anyone know why and which plug is the one I would want to use?20170429_164033.jpg20170429_164053.jpg

From the picture to me they look like two different styles. The left is the newer style plug with the nickel plating and the copper on the right is the old style plug. I have seen some plugs that have removable tips on top that unscrew for different style wires. Does your unscrew on top or fit into the OEM spark plug wires?

I personally would return em all and get some NGK plugs.

I returned the 2 older versions and got two new ones so they are all the same. I have read a lot about plugs on this forum and there are a lot of people that swear by Autolite coppers. They are $2 a plug so if they are no good I will switch over to NKG coppers. I put about 3K miles a year on my car so I will just replace them each year with the oil change.
