So a few nights ago i tried to back out of my driveway and the car wouldn't go in reverse. After playing around with it a little the next day i found the following:

Low,2nd, and Drive are all where they're supposed to be

Neutral also acts as a drive gear (although i have driven it in neutral now i havent tested how fast it will go, right now it seems it may just work as 1st gear. seems to also be slipping some)

While reverse doesnt actually allow the car to move at just over 2K RPM's i begin to build boost (stock gauge)

When i start the car in park the car will lurch forward like its in drive. Once again i can also now build boost in park.

The car will start in both neutral and park so its still tripping the right switches. i figure the tranny is shot, just curious as the what could have happend.

i'll have a look at the shift linkage either on the weekend or next dry day. The shift linkage was my first thought but then it didnt make sense to me because i didnt see how it would trip all the correct switches if the linkage was off. It still starts in neutral, reverse lights come on, pin still drops in place for park. Where in the system are the switches tripped for neutral start and reverse lights.

It's starting to go. The clutches in it are going bad....I went through this a couple months ago. The "R" was the first to go.....I just got a Rebuild done.

Man, it use to lurch and jerk really bad, and rev really high before going into gear. It was the worst...

Code 63- #2 solenoid or surrounding connects/wires.
i also slip going 1st to 2nd, from what i've read the code 63 causes that. tried replacing the solenoid, but its in the wires or connections, have had a chance yet to fully trouble shoot. Code was thrown before the reverse things started.
tranny fuild is clean and level is good. The gear problem happened suddenly, worked in the afternoon and then didnt that night. In between then i did play around in an empty parking lot.

get another tranny, trying to fix the existing one might be more trouble than its worth,i had a solenoid take a dump on me and it would lock up the drivetrain everytime i put it in OD
