Hello everybody!

I am very happy that i will soon be the owner of a 1990 n/a hardtop Supra. I am buying it from a coworker for a very good price and while it seems like it needs a few things and is not in tip top condition bringing it up to par and beyond will be a pleasure for my future DD.

I am a FF/EMT and i am into drifting currently. I love my 1995 240sx but I have compromised a lot of its creatute comforts and the excessive vibration, harshness, & noise is alot to bear everyday since it is going the way of a drift car/ future track star (hey a guy has to be able to dream)

My intentions with the MKIII are simple, fix & improve, keep it a reliable DD and make it as fun and enjoyable as possible & one day go stupid fast on a closed course propelled by a JZ or GTE motor. Comfy and fast PLZ!

i'll post pics up soon as i can and should be getting the car w/in the next week

I'm def a GA nerd, haha. Hey Ed!
i am on Driftmechaniks.com & 240atlanta.com
check out Augustadrifting.comif you are interested! it is my "home" forum

Ed helped me go get the Supra today. it looks to be in good chape over all,
outside is 7/10 (newer paint, scratches, all lites work, trim is ok, i small molding piece gone)
inside 6/10 (cracked dash, dead armrestcover, dusty cracks everywhere, seats comfy as hell, CD player has terretts syndrome)
mechanically 6/10 (smokes-needs valvestem seals done, exhaust could be redone w/out cat-iluvGA, front pass strut tems wires chewed through, front pass wheel bearing SHOT!)

so i am happy with it. as soon as i get the wheel bearing done it will be a great DD. i am gonna go clean it up and take pix once i get some camera batteries

EDIT 2/23:

1990 Supra / MKIII / MA70
3.0 7MGE inline 6
5 spd W58
LSD
Cloth interior
Tint
Pioneer CD player
16x7 +23 Momo's w/newish Rikens (F) & Toyo's (R)
New Brakes all around

I need to replace the FR wheel bearing, it is shot out, and the rodents assaulted the front TEMS shock actuator wires. it smokes alil and needs valvestem seals.

It is really comfy and looks like it is gonna be a great DD ;D

So here is how she looks now, really freakin dirty with the good wheels on. A junkyard Infinity unknowingly donated it's leather armrest cover which i underfoamed, sprayed, heated stretched and convinced onto mine, I was able to replace the shift boot with one outta i think a mazda from the junkyard, knob was off of a manual Camry outta the 'yard as well, an 88 Supra donated it's D.side window switch which was in good shape and unbroken, i was able to pick up some VGC hood struts from JHOT here in augusta just before they closed in March and i installed the BillyW W58 shifter bushing/Merlin Crawler kit for the shifter slop which totally changed the car and is one of the most positive things i have ever done to a vehicle. I also replaced the front right total hub with the one from the 88 in the junk yard which was sans ABS, so right now i am saving/waiting to get new wheel bearing for the front to install so i can reinstall the front hub and change the d. side as well. The car drives well. i just still need to figure out a wiring diagram for the front TEMS sensor wires so i can hard wire thebody harnes to the unit since the plug got chewed through and and i cannot tell which wires connected to which or even exactly which color these 20 year old wires are supposed to be. Anyways here are some pics.
Hopefully everything isn't too ghettofabulous for you.
