Audio Advice Needed (PS3 Related)

Just purchased an Insignia NS-R5101 w/ HDMI Receiver. I want to know how to get optimal settings with my current setup:

PS3 BD audio set to "Liner PCM" (HDMI)
TV set to Liner PCM
HDMI from PS3 to RCVR HDMI "IN", and RCVR HDMI "OUT" to TV HDMI "IN"
Optical cable from RCVR to TV

RCVR only seems to display Dolby Digital, can't seem to get DTS to come on. Am I doing something wrong? Please explain, thanks.

Is your PS3 up to date? DTS-HD wasn't available for the older firmware versions of PS3. Your HDMI doesn't do audio?

PS3 is always up to date (most recent). Yes my HDMI supports audio

Did I hook something up wrong?

Why aren't you using the optic cable form the PS3?
