What ive been doing for the past two weeks.
I got tired of my old dull sawblades on my car and i wanted to refinish them but couldnt decide on a colour.
old sawblades for reference
After a week i decided i liked Silver better on a two tone car. Picked up a used set from Steven89 for free.
Started out like this already paint stripped thanks steven saved me some time
Started sanding
Finished
j/k olive coloured wheel awesome right?
Regular filler primer cant tell but i wetsanded here
Paint goes on OEM Silver Metallic i tried to find the closet silver to match the center cap i think i did pretty good.
wet sanded paint down
Clear went on after that then some light wetsanding with 3600grit
Finished Product
Next to my old wheels
Now just need to get new tires and finish the other three rims and i think im set.
I know some of you dont like the sawbaldes and i know my job may not be the best, but tell me what you think, not bad for a free set of wheel and some elbow grease right?
Thanks for looking
